carisa came to the Coffee House in December of 2022 for the Musicians Who Paint benefit, and our audience fell in love with her touching and skilled performances of a wide variety of music. This will be her first show with us as a headliner. carisa has recently opened shows for Willy Porter and Peter Mulvey and on Peter’s recommendation is taking over from him for the annual National Science Camp gig.

Jennifer Hedstrom is a piano-centered singer-songwriter based in Madison, WI. During her career as a songwriter, she has released two full length solo albums: Prairie (2018) and Bodies of Water (2011). In describing her music, Isthmus Picks said: “Singer-songwriter Jennifer Hedstrom’s piano-driven pop songs are meditations on the natural world that also explore complicated emotional landscapes. Her singing is a breath of fresh air — clear and unadorned — as is her classically inspired piano playing.”
